Our course is designed specifically with you, the HOMEOWNER, in mind! We know that while many home sellers understand the value of great home presentation, not everyone has access to professional home staging -- maybe you live in a small town or perhaps your work schedule makes it challenging to schedule an in-person consultation. Or maybe you're just excited to learn the process for yourself! This course is not intended to be a training course for aspiring home staging professionals and does not provide any accreditation or CE credits. This is a self-paced course, so you can take it as quickly or slowly as you like! On average, it takes about 3 to 4 days to get through it all. The course is divided into four modules covering home buyer psychology, making necessary home repairs and updates, room-by-room guidance, putting everything together, and what happens after listing. It’s a lot of valuable material, so you won’t want to rush. We recommend going through the entire course first to get a good mental overview of the home staging process, and then going back to review individual lessons as you need them. You'll have access to the course materials for a full-year!
Yes! As you complete each lesson, you have the ability to go back and review any material you've already covered, for up to one year after enrollment. Upon enrollment, you'll be able to download 2 versions of our Course Workbook: one version that you can print out (if you prefer hand-writing your own notes) and a fillable PDF version (for homeowners who prefer to type their notes on their computer/device)!
  1. First, you'll need to enroll. You'll create a login name and password when you purchase the course.
  2. Immediately after purchase, you'll be able to download instructions on How to Access the Course as well as our 26-page course workbook, Easy DIY Home Staging for Home Sellers: Workbook (printable PDF and online fillable PDF downloads). You'll also receive an email with access to these downloads as well (check your Spam folder if you don't see it).
  3. Then, using the login name and password you created during enrollment, you'll simply log in to your Course Account, then visit the Course Home Page to begin the course!
Sometimes after completing an in-person or online consultation clients will ask us to come back for a little “fine-tuning.” This is a quick visit, usually about an hour or so, after the client has prepared the home and PRIOR to photo shoot day. During this meeting, we review staging and make suggestions on anything we think you might still be able to adjust or improve for photos (nothing beats having an objective, third-party professional give you a little feedback and encouragement). We’re happy to offer this service online to our DIY students as well at an EXCLUSIVE student price upon completion of the course!
